Hailing from the unlikeliest of places, Tennessee, Kings of Leon debuted in 2003 with the Roller Novocaine EP, exhibiting an unusual raw blend of boogie style rock tunes. They followed up with their first full-length album, Youth & Young Manhood.
The Kings of Leon also accompanied their music with a hipster-like dress code, sporting long hair, mustaches and tight denim jeans. Their first full-length spawned the successful single: “Molly’s Chambers.” Although they were slowly gaining recognition in the U.K., it wasn’t until their sophomore effort that they were able to really break into the mainstream.
2004’s Aha Heartbreak made them European superstars and three of the featured songs cracked the U.
K. singles charts. It was released in the United, signature guitar

The musical notes were matched with impeccable lyrical wit, which was aptly portrayed on tracks like: “Pistol of Fire,” “The Bucket” and “Day Old Blues.
” The success of this record led them to tour alongside mega-stars U2 in 2005.
Two years later, signature guitar

It debuted at the number 25 spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and also topped the charts in the U.K., Ireland and New Zealand.
Determined not to slow down, or lose their impressive standing on the charts, the Kings of Leon returned with Only by the Night, released in 2008. This effort is much grander and more ambitious than most of their previous records. It spawned a major single with “Sex on Fire,” that took over airwaves around the world immediately following its release.
Other notable tracks include: “Use Somebody,’ “Crawl” and “Manhattan.” Like its predecessor, Only by the Night topped the U.K. charts and debuted at the number four spot in the United States, signature guitar

Kings of Leon are clearly in their element and judging from their progression on the charts: they have nowhere to go but up.
